Initially formed in 1969 as a manufacturer of chilled juices, the Hartz Group has developed its proprietary brands to include long-life fruit juices and mineral water. To compliment this formidable portfolio of manufactured products, the Group entered into several exclusive agency agreements with other leading manufacturers of non- alcoholic brands to build one of the strongest beverage distribution channels in Tasmania.

Hartz was recently purchased by another Tasmanian owned business, Juicy Isle Pty Ltd. Juicy Isle has been in operation since 1971 manufacturing quality chilled fresh and longlife juice along with distribution of the world's favourite brands in beverage, food and confectionery. Juicy Isle's successful capture of the Tasmanian, Australian and international markets make it ideally placed to build on the Hartz momentum.

Hartz products will be manufactured at Juicy Isle's custom built state-of-the-art production, warehouse and distribution 6000 square facility at Cambridge near Hobart Airport. Arguably the most advanced facility in Australia, it meets and exceeds the rigid standards of the Australian food and beverage industry. Adopting environmentally friendly practices the facility has water re-cycling, rain water collection and solar power use.
